Mike & Mike's Tree Service

About Mike & Mike's Tree Service

Out toward Long Plain the orchard rows and stone walls still run straight through what used to be all farm, and the white pines and maples between them have grown tall enough to matter. Mike & Mike's Tree Service works this end of town and the roads down toward New Bedford: removals when a tree has begun to lean over a garage, trimming and pruning to keep the shade and lose the hazard, and cleanup when a thunderstorm off the bay lays a maple across the driveway. June is climbing weather, everything leafed out, and shaping done then holds all season. What matters at the end is the ground — chips off the lawn, no ruts, one less thing to watch when the wind picks up. Acushnet is quiet country close to the water, and its trees carry a little of both.
