About LG Landscaping
On a humid August morning in Abington, when the light lifts soft over Island Grove Pond and dew still beads on the blades, LG Landscaping is already out among the tree-lined streets of this old South Shore shoe town, mowers humming their way toward the Shumatuscacant. Their trade is lawn care — the steady back-and-forth of the mow, the clean line of an edge cut sharp against a walkway, the trimming that leaves a yard looking tended and calm. There is a plain pride in a lawn that holds its green through the thick heat of a Plymouth County summer, in the fresh stripes left behind on a Saturday and the smell of cut grass drifting over the fence. When October turns the maples loose, they rake the season clean, gathering what the trees let go and leaving each yard ready for the frost. It is honest, satisfying work — keeping a place cared for, one Abington lawn at a time.
