About Martinez & Sons Landscaping

A few miles down the road from Woodworth, Forest Hill is nursery country, and that neighborhood habit shows in how Martinez & Sons Landscaping treats a yard: the beds are part of the lawn, not an afterthought. Autumn is the good season for it, with cool mornings, the pines holding green while the hardwoods turn along Indian Creek, and ground soft enough to shape. Hedges get squared, bed lines get re-cut, and the mowing pattern is set so the turf lies the same direction week after week. Leaves and pine straw come off the grass and out of the shrubs before the winter rain packs them flat. The result is a place with structure to it, the kind people notice from the road without quite knowing why.
