About Children Youth & Family Services

Autumn takes its time reaching Winnfield: the oaks around the courthouse square hold green into October, then let go all at once when the first north wind comes down off the hills. Children Youth & Family Services keeps lawns and grounds in order through that turn — mowing while the grass still runs, then shifting to leaf raking, bed cleanup and hedge trimming as the season closes in. Winnfield is a walking-around sort of town, and a cleared, trimmed yard says something to everyone who passes it. The work is simple and repeated, which is exactly what keeps a place looking cared for. Come spring the mowers start up again and the whole circuit begins over.
