About Blades of Grace Landscaping LLC

On the west bank at Waggaman the ships ride higher than the rooftops — a hull easing upriver above the levee while a front yard waits its turn for the mower. Blades of Grace Landscaping LLC works the spring weeks when the river is up and the grass finally means it: mowing on a set schedule, edging drives and sidewalks, trimming close along fences and foundations. Jefferson Parish humidity makes for thick, fast turf, and thick turf takes a sharp blade and a straight pass to look like anything at all. Clippings come off the concrete before a job is called done, because a clean walk is half of what anybody actually sees. By late afternoon the light comes flat across the batture and every cut line in the yard stands up in it.
