About John's Lawn Care Services

Saturday morning on a Westlake residential street has its own soundtrack — a sprinkler two doors down, somebody's screen door, and then a mower coming up the block. John's Lawn Care Services is often that mower, moving house to house on a route that neighbors could set a clock by. The work is the familiar list done well: cut, edge the walk and the drive, trim around the mailbox and the AC pad, blow the concrete clean. Yards on these streets sit close enough together that one kept sharp lifts the whole row a little. By late morning the truck is gone and the block looks like the start of a good weekend.
