About Guidry Land Management

West of Westlake the lots stretch out and the ground gets low and soft toward the bayou, where fence lines disappear into whatever grew up along them since spring. Guidry Land Management takes on those bigger properties — the acre-and-up yards, the long drives, the ditch banks and back corners a push mower never sees. Late summer is when the work matters most, with growth coming at everything from every direction at once. Mowing, trimming, clearing overgrowth and opening up the edges again gives a place its shape back, and the difference between before and after is measured in whole horizons. There is something plainly good about standing at the road afterward and being able to see clear to the treeline.
