About FONTENOT'S TOTAL LAWN CARE,DIRT WORK& CONCRETE

Washington sits where the St. Landry prairie edges into the swamp, its old landing still leaning over Bayou Courtableau, oaks and tall rooflines holding the light the way they have for a very long while. FONTENOT'S TOTAL LAWN CARE,DIRT WORK& CONCRETE keeps yards here in trim through a fall that arrives slowly and gently — mowing, edging along walks and drives, string trimming the fence lines, and clearing leaves off the grass before the rain mats them flat. Autumn cools this ground without stopping it, so the cutting stretches deep into the season and the lines stay crisp well past the first cool nights. Every visit ends with the pavement blown off and the borders sharp, nothing left behind but the smell of fresh-cut grass. In a town this old, a well-kept yard is simply good manners toward the street.
