About Hot Rods /Inspection Sticker/Car Detail /BarberShop/Oil Change/Car Battery/Truck Battery/lawn mower Battery.

Noon in July out toward Black Bayou is a particular kind of quiet: heat standing still over the water, cicadas doing all the talking, nothing moving but a mower. Vivian lawns get their midsummer cut right through it — grass kept at a height that can take the sun, edges run back along gravel and concrete both, string trimming close around posts, mailboxes and the trunks of the shade trees. Summer in Caddo Parish rewards persistence over speed; skip ten days and the yard will make you pay for it. So the pace stays steady and unhurried, blades sharp, cuttings pushed off the walks before the work is called finished. Late in the day a breeze comes up off the bayou, and the yard sits there looking cool even when it isn't.
