About L & R Lawncare and Bushhog Service
Out past Swartz the yards give way to pasture, field edges and back lots that go rank by the middle of summer. L & R Lawncare and Bushhog Service takes both kinds of ground — the mowed lawn near the house and the rough acreage behind it, knocked down with the bush hog until the fence line comes back into view. July in Ouachita Parish is thick and slow, and the tractor work gets done through the long part of the day, dust hanging over cut stalks. Closer to the house it is mowing, edging and trimming, the ordinary week-to-week keeping that never stops in this heat. Watching a lot come back from waist-high to open and walkable is the part worth showing up for.
