Louisiana Lawn & Sod

About Louisiana Lawn & Sod

Bare red clay is a hard thing to live with — it bakes in the Louisiana sun, runs muddy in the spring rain, and never quite stops looking unfinished. Louisiana Lawn & Sod exists for the day that changes: ground graded smooth, sod laid tight so the seams disappear, water on it before the afternoon builds. Within a few weeks the roots take hold and the yard stops being a project. From there it becomes ordinary upkeep, mowing and edging and trimming on a rhythm that keeps the new grass thickening rather than thinning. Around Blanchard the pines drop their straw on everything, so cleanup is part of the deal too, and a fresh lawn deserves to stay visible.
