Melvin’s Lawncare Service

About Melvin’s Lawncare Service

By high summer the crepe myrtles along Ruston's older streets go heavy with bloom, dropping pink on the sidewalks below. Melvin's Lawncare Service keeps the lawns beneath them mowed, edged and swept clear of every fallen petal and clipping. There's a steady pride in the routine — arrive, cut clean, define the borders, leave it better than found. The north-Louisiana heat never quite lets the grass rest, so the mowing rolls on through the brightest weeks. A tidy yard under a blooming tree is about as fine as a summer street gets.
