Double A's Lawncare

About Double A's Lawncare

Painted frogs look down from brick walls all over downtown Rayne, and come May the whole town leans toward the festival that put them there. Double A's Lawncare spends that season making front yards worth slowing down for: regular mowing, clean edges along the sidewalk, trimming around mailboxes and porch steps, cuttings pushed back off the drive. Spring here arrives loud and wet, one storm shouldering into the next, so the schedule bends around rain and catches up the hour the ground firms. The reward is plain enough, a green rectangle with a hard edge, cut on a day when the light runs long. Rayne is home base, with work carried out toward Branch, Bosco and Duson.
