Abshire Brothers Lawn & Landscape

About Abshire Brothers Lawn & Landscape

Before the heat finds Rayne there is a half hour when Bayou des Cannes still smells like cold water and the grass holds its dew. Abshire Brothers Lawn & Landscape starts the day inside that window, deck set, string trimmer humming down a fence line, the first crisp pass laid while the light is still soft. Yards in Acadia Parish grow fast and grow nearly all year, so the work becomes a rhythm: cut, edge, trim, then blow the walk until the concrete looks rinsed. There is real satisfaction in the moment a lawn goes from shaggy to squared, the mow lines running straight out toward the road. That is the standard they carry on lawns around Rayne and along the roads toward Duson, Branch and Crowley.
