Lafourche Lawn & Farm

About Lafourche Lawn & Farm

West of Raceland the ground opens into cane and pasture, and the roads out toward Gheens run between ditch banks that green up the minute the weather turns. Lafourche Lawn & Farm takes on both ends of that country — house yards mowed, edged and trimmed close, and the bigger work too: field edges, lot mowing, fence lines and overgrown ground brought back down to size. Grass out this way does not wait for permission. From March on it is a steady rotation, one property to the next, keeping ahead of the growth while the daylight holds. There is something plain and good about looking back down a cut fence line and seeing it run clean to the treeline.
