Apex Grounds Co.

About Apex Grounds Co.

Before the sun clears the pine line east of Ponchatoula, a low fog still hangs over the strawberry rows, and that is when Apex Grounds Co. likes to begin. There is a real satisfaction in mowing a yard while the grass is still cool and beaded, then standing back to watch the stripes run clean toward the fence. In a Gulf town where the grass hardly ever quits growing, keeping a lawn tidy is steady, honest work. Apex Grounds Co. tends yards across Ponchatoula and out toward Hammond and Springfield, mowing, trimming and edging until each property looks cared for. By the time the day heats up, another lawn is done and quiet.
