Westside Lawn Services

About Westside Lawn Services

Come fall the cane fields on the west bank go loud — trucks stacked high, dust hanging in the road, the smell of grinding season riding the wind through Plaquemine. Westside Lawn Services keeps the yards in order right through it, mowing lawns and vacant lots, cutting down the overgrowth that gets ahead of a property, and clearing the trash and limbs that collect along a fence line. Edging and trimming put the finishing lines on it, so a lot looks tended rather than merely cut. The work suits this side of the river: wide, flat, sun-struck ground where a clean lawn stands out from a long way off. When the dust settles and the yard is even from front to back, the day has done what it was supposed to.
