About DJ's Outdoor Services, LLC

By noon in July, the shade under an Opelousas live oak is about the only cool thing on the block, and everyone working outside knows exactly where those trees stand. DJ's Outdoor Services, LLC spends its days in that heat — mowing, edging, running the trimmer around the oaks and the raised beds near Le Vieux Village and out through the neighborhoods beyond. The reward comes at the end of a lot: grass level, borders cut sharp, the whole yard suddenly reading as looked-after from the street. Rain here arrives fast and leaves the ground soft, so the timing of a cut matters as much as the cut itself. This is a town that keeps its old corners tidy, and outdoor work is part of how that happens.
