Laborde Lawn Care

About Laborde Lawn Care

Oakdale sits in longleaf pine country, red dirt underfoot and the rail line running through the middle of town the way it has since the mills were cutting. Laborde Lawn Care keeps the yards of this corner of Allen Parish in order — mowing, edging along walks and drives, trimming around posts and porch piers, and blowing the straw off the concrete. Pine straw is a year-round fact of life out here; it drifts into the beds and gutters and takes steady work to stay ahead of. Summer brings heat, fast grass, and afternoon storms rolling up from the southwest, and the cutting holds its weekly pace right through all of it. By dusk the pines throw long shade across a finished lawn, and the whole place looks settled for the evening.
