About Pennington Lawn & Landscape

Fall is only a rumor here until late October, when the humidity finally lets go and the light comes in low and clear across the grass. Pennington Lawn & Landscape favors that stretch of the year in Oak Hills Place — the last strong cuts, the pine straw and sweetgum coming down, leaves gathered out of the beds and carried off. Mowing, edging, and trimming run right through the warm months; the heavier cleanups arrive with the cool. Winters here are mild enough that the lawns only half sleep, so there is nearly always something worth tending. A yard that goes into January neat and swept bare has a head start on spring already.
