Element Lawnworks

About Element Lawnworks

On a clear winter morning in Norwood, frost silvers the pastures across the rolling hills of East Feliciana Parish, and the pines and hardwoods along the creek bottoms stand sharp against a pale sky. This tiny village is hill country, not swamp, with red clay, gentle slopes and long views, and its yards answer to all the elements at once. Element Lawnworks cares for lawns here by working with sun, rain, soil and slope rather than against them: grass cut evenly across uneven ground, trimmed neat where the lawn meets the drive and the tree line. Come spring, when the hills flush green and the redbuds bloom, a lawn kept that way through the cold months is ready to shine. It is quiet, grounded work for a quiet, grounded place.
