About Season 2 Season

Winter is short here and mostly wet; the grass in New Roads goes tan rather than bare, and then one warm week in February it starts thinking again. Season 2 Season meets it right there — the first cuts of the year, edges reopened along walks and drives, winter debris raked out, shrubs trimmed back before the push begins. Through summer the schedule tightens to keep pace with the rain, and by late fall it loosens again for leaves and cleanups. Carrying a yard across the whole turn of the calendar is a different job than cutting it once. You can see the difference in a lawn that never had to start over.
