Rocky LaCour's Tree Service

About Rocky LaCour's Tree Service

New Roads faces False River, the old bend the Mississippi left behind, and on a still evening the light comes off that water and up into the pecans and cypress along the bank. Rocky LaCour's Tree Service works the camps, town lots and cane-field edges of Pointe Coupee Parish — taking down trees that have gone soft or started to lean, pruning to keep a canopy off a roofline, and clearing the mess after a storm has had its say. Summer thunderheads build fast over the lake and drop a limb across a driveway with no ceremony at all. The job is done when a car can get out, the cuts are clean, and the yard is swept back to something you would sit out in. That view has been worth keeping a long time.
