About Vista Landscaping

January in New Orleans is a soft, misty month: camellias open red and pink in the cool air, the great live oaks of City Park keep their green, and at dusk the light over Bayou St. John turns the water the color of pewter. It is the quiet season, and the right time to see a yard for what it truly is: its bones, its sight lines, the view from the porch. Vista is a word for a view, and Vista Landscaping approaches its landscaping and lawn work with an eye on how a property reads as a whole, with lawns kept trim and even through the mild winter, borders cleaned up, and plantings shaped so the gaze travels easily from the street to the front door. Done right, a winter yard in this city doesn't hibernate; it waits, composed, for spring.
