About Ussin Construction and Lawn Care

A new slab in Gretna comes with a yard that is not yet a yard — rutted fill, a tire track curving to the street, and clay that bakes hard by ten in the morning. Ussin Construction and Lawn Care works that ground into something living, grading it smooth, clearing the leftover debris, and laying sod tight and square so the seams knit shut with the first good rain. After that comes the upkeep: mowing on schedule, edging the fresh concrete, trimming the fence line, keeping the young grass cut before it thins itself out. Beds get shaped and mulched, shrubs set in where the house needs softening at its corners. There is a particular pride in handing back a lot that arrived as bare dirt and leaves as a lawn.
