Jay-Roy Home and Lawn Care

About Jay-Roy Home and Lawn Care

Gentilly rolls out flat and generous, its mid-century ranch houses set back on wide lawns that catch the long Louisiana light. Jay-Roy Home and Lawn Care moves across those broad front yards in the cool of the morning, before the Gulf humidity climbs and the cicadas start up in the crepe myrtles. Here the grass runs to the property line and every yard wants a straight mow, a crisp edge along the drive, and the hedges shaped back from the porch. The work is steady and honest — mowing, edging, trimming, and hauling off the clippings — and the reward is a whole street of ranch homes sitting neat under the wide Gentilly sky. It's yard-keeping made for the way this part of the city spreads out and breathes.
