Reid’s lawn service

About Reid’s lawn service

Minorca lies behind the Mississippi levee with the Natchez bluffs standing up across the water, and out here the land runs flat and open all the way to the treeline. Reid's lawn service mows those Concordia Parish yards — levee-side lots squared off, edges trued along the drives, the trimmer worked around pecan trunks and fence posts. Delta ground grows grass with real enthusiasm; from March to October something is always coming up out of it. Low evening light slides in off the river and shows every line a mower left, which is reason enough to cut them straight. Come sundown the yard sits even and open, and the river air moves through it.
