About John's Lawn Care

Evening in August comes on thick down toward Lake Bistineau, cicadas going in the moss-hung cypress, the air heavy enough to lean against. John's Lawn Care works Minden and the roads that run south from it, cutting turf even and running the trimmer around posts, beds and the base of every tree. Summers here are long and generous to grass; a lawn can get away from a person in ten days flat. Holding a steady week-to-week rhythm is what keeps a yard from becoming a project. There is real satisfaction in shutting the trailer gate at dusk with a whole street mowed behind you.
