About Southern Lawn of Avoyelles LLC

Avoyelles Parish hands you a lot of sky — flat ground, a levee line off toward the river, and a sunset that takes its time going down behind the treetops. Southern Lawn of Avoyelles LLC works underneath it, moving between Marksville yards with the mowing, edging and trimming a Louisiana growing season demands from March clear into November. The grass here hardly rests, and neither does the calendar; consistency is most of the craft. Edges get cut sharp where turf meets concrete, corners get finished by hand, and the walks get cleared so the last look at a yard is a clean one. There is pride in leaving a place tidier than the road you found it from.
