About Shepheards Landscaping Services

Maringouin is the Louisiana French word for mosquito, which tells you plenty about summer evenings in this corner of Iberville Parish. Shepheards Landscaping Services looks after Maringouin's yards as a shepherd tends a flock, patiently and in all weather, from the sticky heat of July to the brief chill of January. Sugarcane stands tall around town by late summer, and beyond it lies the wild green edge of the Atchafalaya Basin. As evening comes on and the light turns amber over the cane, a lawn fresh from the mower and trimmer feels like a small, deliberate act of order. That is the feeling Shepheards works toward, yard after yard.
