Land Trees

About Land Trees

Toward Lake Cataouatche the ground grows thick and green in a hurry, and a neglected Luling lot can vanish under growth in a single wet summer. Land Trees takes on that overgrowth, cutting back the tangle and mowing the reclaimed ground until a yard emerges again. There is deep satisfaction in clearing a lot down to open, usable grass, in handing back a space that had gone wild. Under the big humid sky of St. Charles Parish, the work is sweaty and plain and genuinely rewarding. A cleared, cut lawn where brush once stood is its own quiet victory.
