About Broadlands Inc.

Longville sits in the pine woods of Beauregard Parish along Highway 171, a town that grew up around timber and still smells of resin on a hot afternoon. Broadlands Inc. mows and trims in this stretch of southwest Louisiana, where yards are carved out of the forest and longleaf and loblolly crowd close to the property line. Late in the day, when the pines throw long shadows across the grass, the work shows: lawns cut smooth, fallen needles and cones cleared away, edges held back from the tree line. The summers run long and thick with heat, and the grass never takes a break from it. Broadlands keeps those clearings open and bright, as roomy as the name suggests.
