Moreau's Material Yard

About Moreau's Material Yard

Out in Lettsworth the land is river land, flat and open under a sky that seems to cover all of Pointe Coupee Parish at once, with the levee drawing a long green line across the horizon. Moreau's Material Yard serves this farm-country community with lawn care for yards that run wide and grass that grows heavy in the rich alluvial soil. Winter here is short and gray, and by late February the pastures and lawns are already greening again. Moreau's keeps those big yards mowed down and trimmed, so each home holds its own against the fields around it. A fresh-cut lawn out here is a clean square of green set into open country, and there's real satisfaction in that.
