Guidrys Lawn Services

About Guidrys Lawn Services

By October the cane fields above Larose stand tall and the harvest gets going, and the whole parish smells like fall while the grass is still growing. Guidrys Lawn Services keeps at it through that stretch — mowing, edging, and clearing the leaves and cane trash that blow into yards along the highway. Winters down the bayou are short and gentle, more brown-green than bare, so the work thins out but never quite stops. Then February turns, everything comes back at once, and a yard that was kept tidy through the cool months greens up ahead of the ones that weren't. The pride here is in that continuity: the same lawn, cut right, month after month.
