Dupree’s lawn service

About Dupree’s lawn service

Bayou Lafourche runs down the middle of Larose, and most yards here end somewhere near water — a bulkhead, a drainage ditch, a slope of St. Augustine going soft toward the bank. Dupree's Lawn Service cuts them the way they ask to be cut: one even height, patient turns, the trimmer taken around mailbox posts and camellias by hand. Late afternoon light comes across the water low and sideways, and that is the hour when a fresh cut shows every pass. Clippings get cleared off the drive and the walk instead of left to wash toward the bank. Grass barely rests this far south, so a yard on a steady rotation simply never looks like it got away.
