About Speer Mowing, LLC

East of Lake Charles the land flattens into rice country, mile on mile of shining paddies out toward Iowa and Welsh, the horizon low and wide. Speer Mowing works the yards along that eastern edge, keeping them mowed and edged and trimmed where town gives way to field. There is an honest plainness to it, a lawn cut straight and clean under an enormous prairie sky. The heat comes early and stays, so the mowing runs week after week through the long growing months. When the last row is finished, the yard sits as level and tidy as the rice fields beyond it.
