Bayou Roots

About Bayou Roots

Along Contraband Bayou the cypress hold their ground in the slow brown water, roots deep in the Louisiana earth, and Bayou Roots takes its name from that same sense of belonging to the place. The crew mows and trims the yards of Lake Charles with care, keeping each lawn even and the edges clean where grass meets path. In the softer light of autumn the work slows to a comfortable rhythm, one yard at a time. A well-kept lawn, like the old trees on the bayou, looks like it grew there on purpose. This is grounded lawn care for Lake Charles and its bayou-side streets.
