About Hornsby Landscaping

Lake Arthur sits where the Mermentau widens into open water, and out on this prairie the light has nowhere to hide — it comes across the rice fields flat and gold and lands on every blade you missed. Hornsby Landscaping works that plain honesty into the job: mowing on the line, a clean border cut where grass meets the walk, clippings cleared off the drive before the truck pulls away. Summer mornings start early, ahead of the south wind coming up off the lake and the heat that leans in behind it. When the fields go stubble-brown the yards ask for a tidier kind of attention — trimming back, gathering up, hauling off — so a lot still looks tended while the days shorten. It is ordinary work, and it is exactly why a yard on a prairie street looks like somebody loves it.
