The Grass & Rock Shoppe

About The Grass & Rock Shoppe

Not every Lafayette yard wants to be all grass, and in the drier corners a bed of clean stone holds its own against the heat far better. The Grass & Rock Shoppe works both sides of that line — mowing and keeping the lawn, and laying in rock, gravel, and stone that give a yard low-thirst structure. There is a designer's pleasure in the contrast: crisp green turf running up to a neat bed of pale stone. In a climate that swings from flooding rains to hard dry spells, that mix earns its place. They cut what should be cut and build what should stand still, and the yard looks balanced for it.
