Entergy (Labadieville Construction Yard)

About Entergy (Labadieville Construction Yard)

Labadieville stretches thin and long beside Bayou Lafourche, cane fields running back from the road on both banks until they meet the sky. Entergy (Labadieville Construction Yard) handles lawn care in that flat green country — mowing open ground and lot edges, trimming along fences and gravel margins, keeping grass from swallowing the borders it always tries to swallow. The cutting starts early, before the Assumption Parish humidity thickens and the shade under the oaks runs out. Clippings come off the pavement, the edges get held to a line, and the ground looks tended rather than merely passed over. In cane country, where everything grows fast and grows tall, keeping ground short is honest work.
