D&C Lawn Services

About D&C Lawn Services

By late summer the rice comes off around Kaplan, combines throw dust into a white sky, and the heat sits on the prairie like a hand. D&C Lawn Services works the shade side of that season — mowing in the long early hours, trimming the fence rows and the base of the mailbox, edging the drive so the line stays honest right through August. Clippings get blown from the porch and the walk, so the yard is finished rather than merely cut. When the first cool front finally swings down and the grass slows, the visits shift to cleanup: leaves off the turf, beds cleared, everything set for the mild Vermilion Parish winter. Steady hands, a straight pass, and a lawn that looks cared for from the road.
