Mullins Tree Service

About Mullins Tree Service

Above Jonesville the old earthworks still rise out of ground the rivers laid down, and the pecans and oaks around town have roots as patient. Mullins Tree Service works these blocks and the gravel roads past them — removals when a trunk has gone hollow, pruning to lift a crown clear of a roof, and cleanup after a line of thunderstorms has come through and left the yard in pieces. October is the fine month for it here, when the humidity finally lets go and a tree's shape reads clearly enough to know which limbs stay. A pecan opened up right holds its crop and quits dropping deadwood on the drive. Catahoula Parish grows big trees and big weather both, and this is the work that keeps the two on speaking terms.
