Landon's Lawn service

About Landon's Lawn service

Middle of a Jena July, the courthouse square goes still around noon and even the dogs pick the shade side of the street. Landon's Lawn service is out in it anyway — mowing, edging along walks and drives, string trimming fence lines, blowing the sidewalks clean, cutting shrubs back off the porch. A yard finished in that heat looks like a favor somebody did the whole block. By late afternoon the thunderheads stack over the pines and the smell of cut grass rides in on the first cool push of air. Around Jena, Urania, Tullos, Olla and the LaSalle Parish roads in between.
