About Lewisblawns

Evenings around Hornbeck often close with the sun sliding down toward Toledo Bend, the great reservoir on the Sabine River, and the pines of Vernon Parish going black against an orange sky. Lewisblawns keeps lawns in this lake-and-forest town mowed, trimmed and edged, until the grass lies as smooth as the water at day's end. Late summer here is thick with heat and cicada song, and lawns keep pushing hard right up to the first cool fronts of fall. A trim yard waiting under the pines when the boats come in off the lake is a reward all its own.
