About Roussel Outdoors

On a bright January day the wind comes straight off the Mississippi and over the Harahan levee, where the river trail runs the top of the batture and the grass below has gone dormant and tawny. Roussel Outdoors keeps working through it — cool months are for cutting shrubs back, clearing beds, tidying what the wind has knocked loose, and mowing whenever a warm spell wakes the lawns up again. Come spring the pace changes entirely and the round returns to weekly cutting, edging along drives and walks, trimming the fence lines and blowing the clippings off the concrete. This is outdoor work in a town shaped by water on one side and traffic on the other, and it changes character every few weeks. The reward stays simple and visible: a property that looks like someone is paying attention to it.
