About Bruce Lauricella Lawn Care

Morning in Harahan arrives off the river first — a low fog sitting on the levee that thins as the sun climbs over the batture, and by the time it burns off the mowers are already running. Bruce Lauricella Lawn Care works the shaded blocks off Hickory Avenue, where the ground stays damp under the canopy and the grass runs thick right up to the walk. The job is mowing, edging, trimming and blowing every clipping back off the concrete, week after week through the long green stretch from March into October. There is real satisfaction in a yard that looks handled: lines laid straight, the sidewalk edge cut clean, the driveway clear before the truck pulls away. Harahan is a narrow town caught between the levee and the highway, and the lawns here get looked at closely by neighbors who walk past them twice a day.
