Landscape Workshop

About Landscape Workshop

Along Stumpf Boulevard the crape myrtles do their slow August peeling, bark curling off pale trunks above parking lots that hold the day's heat well past sundown. Landscape Workshop tends grounds like these in Gretna after the lot empties, mowing the islands and verges, running a clean edge where turf meets curb, and lifting the myrtle canopies so the sidewalk stays open beneath them. Shrub lines are pruned to a level face, beds re-mulched, and the pavement blown down so nothing is left tracking into the doorway. Turf, trim and tree work belong to the same job here, because the grounds are read as one thing by anyone walking up to the door. Under the lights at the end of a shift, a property that was shaggy at noon looks composed and squared away.
