About Green Monster Lawncare and Landscaping, LLC.

By high summer a Gretna lawn has gone the deep green of the river oaks, runners creeping over the walk, the whole yard pushing hard in the humidity that sits on the West Bank from June through September. Green Monster Lawncare and Landscaping, LLC meets that growth head-on at midday, the mower laying wide bands across the open front and the edge re-cut clean where the grass tried to take the concrete back. Trimming follows the fence line and the base of every tree, then the drive is blown until there is nothing left but pavement. Landscape work fills the shaded side of the day: beds mulched, hedges brought back into line, the ragged corners squared. Big grass is not a problem here so much as a standing invitation.
