About Wallys lawn and landscape

The first honest cool front of October shoves through west Caddo Parish overnight, and by morning the hay fields have gone gold and the pines are dropping straw across every yard in Greenwood. Wallys lawn and landscape reads that as a work order: mowing while there is still growth in the blade, leaf and pine-straw cleanup, beds recut and mulched, shrubs shaped before the cold settles in. Landscape work in the fall is the sort nobody photographs and everybody notices come March. There is something plainly good about a raked, edged, buttoned-up yard sitting under a cold blue sky. That is the season out here, and it deserves to be done right.
