About A&W services

Afternoons in Terrebonne Parish arrive with a thunderhead stacking up white in the south, and everybody in Gray learns to read it. A&W services works with one eye on that sky — mowing, edging, string trimming and cleanup timed to land before the first fat drops hit the driveway. Warm rain and river soil make the grass here grow like it has somewhere to be, so the visits stay regular and the cut stays even. There is a plain pride in pulling back onto the highway with a yard behind you trimmed tight to the fence line and the walkways swept to the concrete. When the rain finally comes through, it falls on a lawn already put right.
